ZAP – Signs new distributor

ZAP (OTC BB: ZAAP) issued a statement on July 29, 2008 that Former Pirelli Tire North America president and CEO Gaetano “Guy” Mannino, after a lifetime of association with the auto industry, is speaking out about electric car technologies and his recent business venture with ZAP.

BLUEFIRE ETHANOL FUELS – Receives first installment of DOE Grant Funds

BlueFire Ethanol Fuels, Inc. (OTC: BFRE), a “leader in cellulosic ethanol production technology”, is trading down 2.50% following the Company’s July 29, 2008 announcement that it has received the first installment of funding from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for the development of the BlueFire Mecca, LLC plant in Southern California.
